All Mountain, and you are doing a lot of lift service/bike park days, the AM would be a better option if you are more concerned with going downhill vs uphill. I think it's plenty capable on Enduro style trails, but if that is your main focus vs. Unfortunately, it won't be fast and all of your friends with lighter weight rigs will be waiting for you at the top of the hill. The 78.6 STA took me a little time to get used to but once you get comfortable with it you will appreciate how it helps put you in a great pedaling position to spin up the hills. It has crushed every downhill I have thrown at it but I ride MN trails and not CO/PNW trails. I have a medium 2021 TR Race with the Lyric up front and the Ultimate Coil out back. If you try to go a full size down you'll have a super cramped pedaling position because modern long reach bikes also have a corresponding steep seat tube. Passing through dense woodland, you reach the market town of La Junta, before arriving at picturesque, fjordside Puyuhuapi, famous for its hot springs. Just south is Chaitén, half buried by the volcanic eruption of 2008 but since recovered, followed by the Villa Santa Lucía crossroads town from here, you can detour to Futaleufú – Chile’s whitewater rafting capital. Start in Puerto Montt, the Lake District’s port city, take the first of four ferries, then pass through the salmon-farming town of Hornopirén, before taking two interconnecting ferries through the fjords, with a strip of land in between, to reach the southern half of Parque Nacional Pumalín Douglas Tompkins – a vast area of native forest, gifted to the state by the Tompkins philanthropists.
